The Ahlibank Payroll Card is a payment solution designed to pay the salaries of your employees, who earn up to QAR 6,000 per month. Employees will receive their salaries on their Payroll Cards without the requirement of having a bank account.

  • Payroll Card is fully compliant with the directives of the Ministry of Labour under Wages Protection System (WPS)
  • Payroll securely transfers salaries from the company’s corporate account to employees’ Payroll Cards
  • This is a direct stress-free salary payment service
  • Employer should hold an Ahlibank Corporate Account for issuing Payroll Cards to their employees
  • Employer will need to provide Ahlibank with each Payroll cardholder’s mobile phone number and Qatar ID number
  • Employers must communicate to the employees the security issues associated with protecting employees’ Payroll Cards
  • Payroll Cards captured by any ATM must be reported by the cardholder to the Payroll Contact Centre on +974 4420 5275 and the employer should be informed of the same within 24 hrs of card capture. Employer must complete a Replacement Request Form to order a new Payroll Card
Eligibility
  • The employee must have a valid Qatar ID
  • Payroll Card is offered through the following segments, Business/Commercial & Corporate Relationship
  • Employees with salary below QAR 6,000 per month can apply for a Payroll Card
  • Employer must be Wages Protection System (WPS) registered
  • Employer needs to sign Payroll Cards Services Agreement
  • Employer completes the Payroll Registration Form and provides the employee details
  • The application must be submitted to the employer’s Ahlibank account holding branch or Ahlibank Relationship Manager

Requesting Payroll Cards for Employees

Salary File Loading via CD-ROM
  • The Employer has to ensure the salary file is provided to the bank at least 3 working days before the Salary Day by:
  • Form is to be signed by the authorised signatory of the Company
  • Affix Company stamp on form
Payroll Card Replacement/Stop/PIN Re-Issue
  • Employee should complete the “Payroll Card - Card Replace/ PIN Re-Issue” Form
  • Form is to be signed by both Payroll Cardholder and the authorised signatory of the Company
  • Affix Company stamp on the form
  • Send the original form to Ahlibank Payroll Service Centre

Payroll Card Dispute/Claim
  • Employee should complete the “Payroll Card - Dispute/Claim” Form
  • Form is to be signed by both Payroll Cardholder and the authorised signatory of the Company
  • Affix Company stamp on the form
  • Send the original form to Ahlibank Payroll Service Centre

Payroll Card Cancellation
  • Company should complete the "Payroll Card - Card Cancellation" Form
  • Form is to be signed by the authorised signatory of the Company
  • Company should also provide the Employees data on CD-ROM read only on an Excel file format in the Bank’s required format
  • Affix Company stamp on form
  • Send the original form along with the CD-ROM to Corporate Banking RM’s or Branch Manager

  • Each business owner must visit the payroll center to provide the Bank with the most recent statistics of the company's employees certificate issued by the MOI. All the information related to active Payroll Cardholders under the company's sponsorship should be declared in the company's employees certificate ( the certificate should not be issued from more than 10 days)
  • All information related to active Payroll Cardholders should be provided to the bank on a CD using this file.
  • All active Payroll Cardholders who have an account with Ahlibank should provide their QID and passports. Failure to comply may result in restrictions on salary transfer facilities provided to the Company by the Bank.
