  • You can now shop online at your favourite retailer inside and outside Qatar with your Visa Platinum Debit Card
Your Ahlibank Platinum Debit Card has clearly defined daily limits for cash withdrawal at ATMs and for purchases at merchant outlets:

  • The above limits are subject to available funds in your account and/or any Overdraft facility you may have. You can change your daily limits by written request to any Ahlibank branch
  • All the transactions made with your Ahlibank Platinum Debit Card will appear on your bank account statement(s)
  • Enhanced Security with CHIP and PIN: Your Ahlibank Platinum Debit Card comes with CHIP and PIN technology, whereby you will be required to enter a unique PIN known only to you in order to complete your transaction. This ensures added security for all your transactions
  • SMS Alerts: enjoy additional security with free SMS alerts for every transaction made on your Ahlibank Platinum Debit Card
  • Lost or Stolen: If you discover that your card has been lost, stolen or misused, please call us immediately on +974 4420 5222
When you receive your Debit or Credit Card, please sign on the signature panel on the reverse of your card by using a ballpoint pen. You will need to generate a card PIN to activate your card before you use it.

Simple steps to generate a Card PIN and activate your Debit and Credit Card
To generate your card PIN and activate your Debit and Credit Card, please use any of the following channels and follow the steps:

Branches
  • Visit your Ahlibank branch
  • Speak to our staff for more information and follow their instructions
  • Enter the One Time Password (OTP) sent as an SMS to your mobile number registered with us
  • You will be prompted to set a 4 digit PIN of your choice and confirm the same
  • Your card will be ready for use once you have set your PIN

Phone/IVR
  • Call +974 4420 5222
  • Select the language of your choice
  • Choose option 3 for registered customers in IVR service*
  • Enter your 16 digit Debit Card number or your 13 digit account number
  • Enter your 4 digit Telephone PIN (TPIN)
  • Choose option 5 to generate your card PIN
  • Enter your 16 digit Debit or Credit Card number you want to generate a PIN
  • You will be prompted to set a 4 digit PIN of your choice and confirm the same
  • Your card will be ready for use once you have set your PIN

*If you are not registered for the IVR service, choose option 0 on the IVR. You will speak to a Contact Centre agent to register on the IVR service and create your Telephone PIN (TPIN)

ATM
  • Insert your Debit or Credit Card in the ATM
  • Select the language of your choice
  • Click confirm to receive the One Time Password (OTP)
  • Enter the One Time Password (OTP) sent as an SMS to your mobile number registered with us
  • You will be prompted to set a 4 digit PIN of your choice and confirm the same
  • Your card will be ready for use once you have set your PIN

Online and Mobile Banking
  • Login to your Ahlibank Online Banking via your desktop/laptop or mobile device
  • Enter your User Name and Password*
  • Select Debit or Credit Card request service
  • Choose Create/Change PIN option from the drop down menu
  • Enter the 16-digit card number of the card you want to Set/Change PIN
  • Set a 4 digit PIN of your choice and confirm the same and click next
  • Enter the One Time Password (OTP) sent as an SMS to your mobile number registered with us
  • Your card will be ready for use once you have set your PIN

*If you are not registered for Online and Mobile Banking, choose option Not Registered on the Online Banking login page. You have to hold at least one active Debit or Credit Card when you register for Online and Mobile Banking.

If you forget your Debit or Credit Card PIN. You can reset through:
  • Branch: Please speak to our staff for more information
  • IVR: Call +974 4420 5222. Follow the same steps
  • Online and Mobile Banking: Login to your account. Follow the same steps

If you want to change your Debit or Credit Card PIN. You can change through:
  • Branch: Please speak to our staff for more information
  • IVR: Call +974 4420 5222. Follow the same steps
  • ATM: Visit any Ahlibank ATM. Choose PIN Change option from Other Services menu and follow the instructions on the screen
  • Online and Mobile Banking: Login to your account. Follow the same steps
