Yes, you can only send or receive money using Fawran with another registered Fawran user. You need to register with your bank to be visible to another Fawran user.

You can register for Fawran with your Ahlibank account:

• On the Ahlibank Online Banking or Mobile App home screen, tap "Fawran" from the three-line menu
• Select Registration
• You will be prompted to register your Mobile Number or Nickname and select the Ahlibank account to use to send and receive payments
• Once you select the account, you will get confirmation that you have registered with Fawran

No, you can only link your account in Fawran with the mobile number registered with Ahlibank.

A Nickname is another option to register your account in Fawran. It is an 8-digit numeric number created by the customer at the time of registration. It can be shared with another Fawran user to receive money on your account.

Here are the steps to pay another Fawran user:

1. Tap "Fawran" and select "Send Money"
2. Select Send Money via mobile number or Nickname
3. Enter the mobile number or Nickname provided by another Fawran user
4. System will retrieve the beneficiary's name, bank name, and IBAN number
5. Enter the amount you want to send and select the Purpose of Transfer and submit
6. The receiver will receive the money in their registered account

You can view all transactions in the Transaction History menu under Fawran.

You can transfer up to QAR 35,000 per transaction. You may do 5 transactions per day and 30 transactions per month with a maximum of QAR 70,000 for a day and QAR 4,000,000 for a month.

It is the registered account in the Fawran platform which will be linked with your mobile number or Nickname used at the time of registration. Only one account can be linked with the mobile number or Nickname in the Fawran system. For linking your Ahlibank account, please follow the registration process as mentioned in point number 4. If you have multiple bank accounts, only one account can be linked to your mobile number at one time; for other accounts, you will have to use different Nicknames to add the accounts on the Fawran platform.

Please update the mobile number in the bank records and also re-register your account with the new mobile on Fawran platform by logging in to the Ahlibank Online Banking or Mobile App and choosing the “Register” option, or you can edit the mobile number under the “Manage” option. You need to deregister your old mobile number from Fawran.

Fawran transactions will be processed 24/7 unless there is any downtime by participating banks or the Fawran platform, both of which will be communicated via Fawran notifications.

You can remove your registered mobile or Nickname linked to your Ahlibank account in Fawran via Ahlibank Online Banking or Mobile App.

• Once you log in, select Fawran from the three-line menu and click on the “Manage” option
• The system will list your accounts linked with the registered mobile number or Nicknames with “Edit” or “Suspend” buttons
• Click on “Edit” and select “Delete” to remove your mobile number or Nickname from the Fawran platform

You can suspend your registered mobile number or Nickname linked to your Ahlibank account in Fawran via Ahlibank Online Banking or Mobile App.

• Once you login, select Fawran from the three-line menu and click on the "Manage” option
• The system will list your accounts linked with the registered mobile number or Nicknames with “Edit” or “Suspend” buttons
• Click on “Suspend” and confirm to temporary suspension
• You can re-activate by selecting the “Activate” button from the same screen
