Ahlibank implements new cheque book design to comply with QCB security standards

Ahli Bank (QPSC) (Ahlibank) is delighted to announce that it is one of the first banks in Qatar to implement Qatar Central Bank’s (QCB) new regulations relating to new cheque book design and printing.
These improved security standards set by QCB, are designed to protect bank customers against attempted fraud and centralise cheque printing in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior Security Printing Press.
Mr. Mahmoud Malkawi, Acting CEO of Ahlibank said: “Ahlibank has once again demonstrated its full commitment to comply with QCB regulations by successfully implementing QCB’s new cheque book printing requirements with the Ministry of Interior Printing Press. QCB’s new requirements for cheques, involves new technological printing standards that enhances the safety of cheques and protects against attempted forgery”.
