Ahlibank recognised as first Visa payWave issuer in Qatar

Ahlibank, a leading Qatari owned financial institution has been given a recognition award by Visa International for issuing the first Visa payWave Credit Card in Qatar.
With the Visa payWave technology feature, cardholders can simply shop, wave and go – convenient, fast and secure without needing any PIN (Personal Identification Number) or signature for purchases of QAR 100 or less. Visa Platinum Credit Cardholders will not only enjoy more entertainment, shopping and dining privileges, but will also have 6 complimentary visits to airport lounges every year at over 25 airport lounges worldwide.
