Why you should get it?
Himyan Card is a Prepaid Card that can be used at all locations where NAPS cards are accepted. Himyan Cards are loaded with any set amount of funds and can be used for multiple purchases for as long as value remains on the card.
How does the Himyan Card work?
- Himyan Card is a "reloadable Prepaid Card", meaning you can top-up the card as much as you can with QAR currency only and then use it in all ATMs, Point of Sale (POS) and Online within Qatar to access your money quickly and safely.
- Himyan Card carries the NAPS logo, so it can be used at thousands of places that accept NAPS cards, including online domestically.
- Each time you make a purchase, that amount is automatically deducted from the card balance. It is best to personally keep track of your balance, as most merchants will not be able to tell you.
- The card does not offer a line of credit like a Credit Card, which means you cannot use more than what is already loaded on the card.
- Cardholders can also pay for goods and services at merchants locally only.
How do I use a Himyan Card?
When you're ready to make your purchase, tap or swipe your card. The purchase amount will automatically be deducted from the card balance.
Do I need to activate my card before using it?
Yes, you have to activate your card before using by calling us on +974 44205222 or via Ahlibank ATMs.
Can I change the PIN on my Himyan Card?
Yes, you can change the PIN anytime using Ahlibank ATM.
How many cards can I get?
Customers can get up to 2 cards under each QID.
What is the card validity?
The card is valid for 5 years as per expiry date printed on the card.
Do the funds on the card expire?
No. you can use your card as much as you can till the card expiry date printed on the card.
Is my card contactless?
Yes, your card comes with contactless technology.
Can I use the card in other countries?
No, the card can be used for any ATM, POS (Point of Sale) and online commerce locally within the NAPS network only.
Where can I use my Himyan Card?
You can use your Himyan Card:
- For any local ATMs transactions.
For any local POS (Point of Sale) transactions.
For any local ECOM transactions.
Can I withdraw cash using the Himyan Card?
Yes, you can do this through any bank Ahlibank ATMs or other bank ATMs in Qatar.
How can I check the balance on my Himyan Card?
You can use Ahlibank ATMs and Contact Centre to know the card balance.
Will I be charged for balance enquiry using ATM?
No, you won’t be charged
What should I do if my cards have been lost, stolen or misused?
You need to call our Contact Centre at (+974) 4420 5222 immediately and they will explain your options for Replacement card.
