10 Qataris successfully complete the first “Ahlibank Kawader” programme

Ahlibank held an awards ceremony at Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA) to celebrate the first 10 graduates of the “Ahlibank Kawader” programme. Developed by Ahlibank, this bespoke programme aims to recruit, develop and build in-depth expertise in banking and finance amongst Qatari Nationals.
The programme is part of the bank’s plan to increase Qatarisation in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
“Ahlibank Kawader” programme has the following objectives:
- Inspire the most talented young Qataris to choose a career in the financial sector
- Motivate and empower talented Qatari students, providing them with a world-class training for careers in the financial sector
- Encourage collaboration between the banking and finance industry and academia
Mr. Saad Al-Kaabi, Head of Human Resources of Ahlibank said: “We are strongly committed to the development of Qatari talent via the “Ahlibank Kawader” programme. We have specifically designed the programme to help equip students with skills required by the financial services sector. It also provides participants with excellent professional development tools and internationally recognised professional certifications, which will enable them to be successful in the financial services industry”
Mr. Saad Al-Kaabi further added “this is our first programme and we are already planning enhancements to the 2015 programme which will commence in September 2015.”
