New Ahlibank branches open for business

Ahlibank has opened a new branch to the public today in Umm Lakhba, with another new branch to open tomorrow in City Centre. The branches have been opened to the public ahead of an official opening ceremony planned for early January 2015.
The branches at Umm Lakhba and City Center feature the bank’s new brand identity, which is being rolled-out across the whole branch network and is also reflected in the new-look Ahlibank website which has also recently been launched.
The new branches and corporate identity mark the first stage in of a series of planned developments for Ahlibank over the coming months with continued investment in branch modernization and technology.
Ahlibank’s Chief Executive Officer Salah Murad, said: “With total assets above QAR 28bn as of September 2014 and continued strong annual results, Ahlibank remains on a secure footing as we move into 2015 and is well positioned to take advantage of Qatar’s growth economy. However, customers are demanding more than ever from their banks which, need to continue innovating to meet those demands. We have looked at our entire product range and invested across our banking services to meet our aim of bringing tomorrow’s banking to Qatar, today. Customers will continue to see many exciting developments over the coming months and year.”

The new branches will officially be opened early in January, with several special activities planned to mark the occasion(s).
