Ahlibank Adds Samsung Wallet to Customers’ Payment Options

DOHA, QATAR; November 21, 2022: Ahlibank, a leading Qatari owned financial institution, is introducing Samsung Wallet to its customers to make contactless payments with their Ahlibank Visa Debit and Credit Cards added on Samsung devices. This is part of the Bank’s digitization efforts to enable its customers conduct transactions on the go.
Samsung Wallet is a quick, easy and secure way for users to complete payments. It will be equipped with additional features in the near future including storing sensitive documents such as IDs, electronic keys, boarding passes – with just one swipe.

The Samsung Wallet platform is protected by strong hardware and Samsung’s Knox-based security technology to safely store sensitive information in device, including fingerprint recognition and encryption to make sure users’ important data are protected.
Linking Ahlibank Visa Debit and Credit Cards to Samsung Wallet is easy. To set up Samsung Wallet on Samsung devices, customers should update the software on their device to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, log into their Samsung Account from the Samsung Wallet app to set up PIN and fingerprint, tap on ‘ADD CARD’, scan or manually enter card details and then verify the card with SMS option and enter OTP.
