Near-Field Communication (NFC)
For the first time in Qatar, contactless ATM transactions are available on select Ahlibank ATMs. Debit and Credit Card customers can now tap your contactless cards on the NFC reader panel on the ATM, eliminating the need to insert the card in the slot. When you tap your card,
the ATM will prompt you to enter the 4-digit PIN and the transaction flows as usual. Tapping your card makes transactions safer, faster, easier and more enjoyable.
Experience a new way to transact when you tap your Debit or Credit Card. It is quicker, easier, safer and more convenient.
The card does not leave your hand which improves safety and reduces the risk of card retention in the ATM.
